Hello, all! Here are two thoughts for today:

1)) Galatians 5:1 “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.”

As finals are coming up and deadlines are looming around the corner, this verse whispers truth. It reminds me that I am free. I am free because of Jesus. A grade on a paper does not define me. I am already defined by the Author of Life himself.

So, no matter what, I always have the choice to be free in Jesus. Will I choose his freedom today?

2)) Have you ever thought about the power of encouragement? I’ve noticed recently that people can be uplifted through even the smallest words and actions of those around them. However, in order for this encouraging connection to take place, someone must initiate encouragement, which usually means leaving their comfort zone. It might cost them a little security and comfort, but it might just make somebody’s day.

So today, close this web page and spend some time in prayer with the One who made you and Who’s crazy aboutcha. Next, will you join me today as we live in Christ, choose His freedom, and spur each other on with His encouragement?
